I'd like to think it was a bang that created me from the clouds. I don't know why but I always imagined that God made me some sort of way extravagant. I'd like to think that in the clouds before I was made I lived there and he told me, "now look here Adrienne. You have a choice. You can be anything you wanna be. I mean that's any color, anything." And he only asked me this cause I told him "I trust you lord, you would know what's best for me." And he smiled for the answer and shit me straight down into my mothers womb. Where upon birth I nearly hit the floor because doctors told her to push while they weren't present, as well as because the devil didn't want me anywhere around. But me miraculously the doc caught me in the nic of time to save me. Just as planned by god anyway. Just so I could have a story to tell you here. I was that child born to a woman who we as grieving the break up of a man, my father, who had wronged her, or at least that was what I was told all my life.
