I used to believe in soul mates, but what do you do when yours is gone?

Love at first sight doesn't exist. Well according to me at least. My parents swear by it. My father says as soon as he met my mother it was love at first sight. I laughed. What happens when you see a random guy and your like "Damn he's hot im going to marry him!" Then you are dead looking on and you realize he is a serial killer. That's all im saying! Its ridiculous. You can't love someone just by looking at them. Or at least that's what i thought. I learned that i was soon going to eat my words.
