{*~First Book of Soul Calibur: Libra of Souls~*} -------------------- {*~IMPORTANT NOTE~*} I do NOT own Soul Calibur VI nor its characters. I only own my original characters that I had put in the story already, or will about to put later in future chapters. This story is the first book of a fanfic that I made based on the Libra of Soul story mode of the said game as well, yet only with some alternate changes. I hope you will enjoy reading and have a nice day to you all~! -------------------- {*~INTRODUCTION~*} (Based Off/From the Opening of the Game) Transcending history and the world, a tale of souls and swords, eternally retold. Soul Edge, a legendary sword and devourer of souls... Buried in the darkest reaches of history, it was brought back to light in the 16th century. Soul Edge was later claimed by the notorious pirate Cervantes as the sword adapted itself to its new owner by splitting into two. Possessed by the evil weapons, Cervantes began a bloody reign of terror, but was eventually defeated by a ninja known as Taki when a female warrior named Sophitia was able to destroy one of the swords. However, one of Soul Edge's two blades still remained. The sword then fell into the hands of Siegfried, whose mind was twisted and unwell. It was not long after that a pillar of light pierced the heavens, the product of rampant evil - the Evil Seed. No one could have predicted it would become a catalyst for catastrophe across the world... Our story takes place in the 16th century.

"We destroyed it! Dammit! They shouldn't be back!" Patroklos panted as he looked at the two swords merged once again in Soul Embrace -- a unique phase that occurs when both weapons ultimately become one. Patroklos stood before the new wielder of the ultimate blade, both evil and holy, chaotic and orderly. No ordinary weapon could defeat it. "What's wrong Patroklos?" The wielder laughed, "Don't you recognize your mother?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "This," the old man boasted, "is the secret treasure known as the Kali-Yuga." "Oh man I thought you were giving me food," Xiba pouted. "Child, you must wield this with great responsibility." "If I take it can we go get food?" Edge Master rolled his eyes and put the weapon forth. Leixia felt her pendant surge with power as the weapon got closer to Xiba, and the seal of the demon on Natsu's shoulder glowed a bright purple. "No!" A voice yelled from the end of the burnt temple. Edge Master remembered the voice, after all, who can forget their most star pupil? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Viola stared into her orb. She knew what she had to do. "The moon reveals all, as we enter Gemini..." she muttered. "Witch!" Hilde cried, "I cannot let you leave this imprisonment!" Viola, inside of the stronghold of the reformed Wolfkrone, barked, "You will regret this daughter of King George!"
