Death the Kid has spent his whole life believing perfection is everything. Every picture frame must be straight. Every sock must match. Every room must be balanced down to the smallest detail. Then Y/N transfers to Death Weapon Meister Academy. She's always five minutes late. Her backpack is overflowing with papers. Her room looks like a tornado passed through it, and somehow she still manages to smile through every mistake. Kid tells himself she's impossible. Too loud. Too messy. Too unpredictable. So why does he keep looking for her after class? Why does he notice when she's missing? And why does the world suddenly feel... quieter whenever she's not around? Maybe perfection isn't about everything being equal. Maybe it's about finding the one person who makes all your imperfections feel like home.

Soul Eater Evans, a lonely weapon student at the DWMA, has been struggling in class for one reason-he has no meister. Without a partner, his future at the academy is uncertain, and each day only makes things worse. Everything changes when he's tricked and taken to a sprawling city far from home. There, he meets Maka-a sick, homeless girl with no clear future ahead of her. She might be his only way back. But with Maka's condition growing worse, Soul is forced to face a different question: Will he make it home... or will time run out before they ever get the chance? In Soul Eater (both manga and anime) it hardly describes how Soul and Maka meet and become partners. So I decided to write my very first fanfic about them. Hope you in joy!

A Soul Eater short story, the beginning of a new romance. I wrote a story similar to this one, not long ago, with the same title, but it was a complete failure, and barely anyone read it ;-;. So I wrote a new and improved story with a new and improved plot-line! This wasn't the way it's supposed to be! I wasn't suppose to fall for him let alone become friends with him. I don't know how to feel. I don't know what emotions are. I hated everyone except for Medusa! She's the one who cared enough to take me off the streets. She took me in when others pushed me away. She's the only one I care for, even if I was just a weapon to her... but when our lips touched my heart skipped a beat. It was an unexplainable feeling. He was my first after all... and my cheeks, they were warm. Is this what it means to have a "crush" on someone? The worst thing was.... I think I liked the feeling.
