Its a poem about an alcoholic that explores the feelings of false promises, telling yourself you will do better but you wont and all the metaphors humans portray when consuming alcohol.

In the realm of existence , lost in the haze, I no longer know how it feels to feel. Could be a great alternative? I wear a mask to hide the emptiness, searching for a heartbeat- a temporary inhabitant , a fleeting essence borrowed from the universe...... a veil that shrouds its essence.

These are the fragments of my mind, scattered and unfiltered. Each thought, a raw pulse, as unpredictable as the last. This is my therapy-my unvarnished truth laid bare. No masks, no shields. Just me, stripped down, between heaven and heart.
