What if the well-known seven deadly sins were actually our seven powers of the ego and instead of being eternally motivated by fear and shame, our lives could be propelled by growth?
From a young age, I knew that my soul was on a potent journey of discovery. Throughout my lifetimes, I went through several interconnected lessons, each corresponding to what Mary Magdalene would call the Powers of the Ego.
In past-life regressions or shamanic journeys, my soul remembered, and for the emotions to be fully embodied, I captured them in a series of short poems. Each life impacted by the patriarchal world of that time. No matter the gender, the system hurt us all.
I now feel the calling to expand on the poems, to make the short snippets of my past come alive. In the process I intend to inspire us all, including myself, to be kinder to each other, and to perhaps embrace the possibility that the boundaries of this life may be far less final than they seem.
But to move ahead, we must heal. To heal, we ought to remember, grieve and forgive. These poems, and its accompanying stories, have been part of that process for me, and I hope you will join me on this journey of your own remembering, your own healing.
