Maka comforts Soul even though he thinks he's too cool for hugs.

"I can't seem to take Maka off of my mind. It's like wherever I go, whatever I do, I see Maka." Soul likes Maka - and has been since the very first day they met. In fact, one would even go as far as to say hee were in love with her. He's just too afraid to tell her. What he doesn't know is that Maka feels the exact same way. After a fight between the two partners, Maka disappears without a trace. Soul, now guilt-ridden and feeling like it's his fault, falls into a state of loneliness and depression. Soul never got to tell Maka how he felt, and now he never will. At least, that's what he thinks.

Soul knows that Maka likes him, but Soul is too shy to make the first move to start a relationship. Black Star helps Soul within a sleep over by a game of Truth or Dare. They both got together. Maka knows that all the girls -excluding their friends- like Soul. One day a transferee came and eventually liked Soul. Glorie -the transferee- tries her best but she keeps failing. One day she and Soul were left alone in the classroom because they both got in detention. Glorie tries to flirt with Soul. Maka slightly opens the door to check on Soul and she hears Glorie says "Come on Soul, I know you love me more that Maka. Say the truth" then Soul replies "yeah, how about we talk about it later babe?". She closes the door loudly and Soul runs to the door to see who was the one who loudly closed the door, he see Maka running away then he chases after her. Little did Maka or Soul know that Glorie has a secret. Will Soul manage to explain? or will they break up? What is Glorie's secret?

The gang decides that it's time their children step up in their place. But how will the new gang take on this threat? "From the shadows, we will rise." Will they be as successful as their parents? Soul and Maka finally collect 99 keshin souls yet again. They go off to collect their witch soul. While in the mists of fighting they become weak from her magic and pass out. So after his immense break up with Sapphire, a weapon (compound bow) Soul has been grieve stricken. Yet Maka can't bare to see soul heart broken, she gives him an offer to gain Sapphire back by using jealousy against her will, by having Maka "date" soul. But eventually Soul finds love again..but with which girl?
