I don't always talk about what I feel. So I write it instead. These are things I never said out loud, like sand in my pockets - a quiet weight I carry, almost invisible, small, but still there.

Takeru Nishikawa had always been an introverted person. He was never really sure what he wanted to do with his life. He loved playing drums and loved listening to electronic music, but he wasn't sure if any of those two things would entail towards his future. Now in high school, he found that his love for music was starting to fester, as it was hard for him to find anyone to share his love for his favorite genre. Hello wanderers! I'm The Storyteller Presents, and this is a unique short creepy story I created for all of you to enjoy. This particular story shows Elias, a blind man that can hear better than most, realizing he has to deal with a Demon living in his apartment. I am hard of hearing (or deaf.) I wear hearing aids. This is kind of a story, but sorta not. It is mostly a guide for those who are not hard of hearing/deaf and have no experience with deafness. (This could be maybe for people who became deaf/hoh, or were deaf/hoh) This is my first book and also, feel free to comment questions and share this. This is to spread awareness and show you guys what's it like to be hard of hearing or deaf. Hoh means hard of hearing, btw!

Each day when I wake up, I open my window and soak in the beautiful air from the great out doors. Every day, no matter what goes on, I can always breathe in that fresh air and listen to the songs that the birds sing me. Today though, I opened it and my birdies were quiet. I silenced myself and listened. One minute, maybe two of letting my ears roam, I finally found the sound of the birds chirping. A moment later I said aloud to myself 'the beautiful sounds of nature'. A true joy, it gives me. I ran to my laptop to write this short poem and it brought tears to my eyes when I read it aloud, so I thought I'd share. Enjoy 🙂
