It was a normal, calm day. Frieren and her companions were enjoying their stay in a peaceful town, where white clouds were drifting and the gentle wind was blowing. As usual, Frieren was too lazy to walk out of the inn and enjoy any fresh air, and let everyone be free to wander.

Fern and Stark are stuck in a cabin during winter, again.

For years, I was the silent architect behind the hero, the strategist who guided the power of the watch, only to have victory snatched away by a blinding flash of white light that tore me from my world.
