I can't stand Cameron Sterling.
And before you ask, yes, I've tried.
I've tried being nice. I've tried making conversation. I've even tried taking my momma's advice and giving him a chance.
But Cameron makes it impossible.
I've worked my ass off to get where I am. I didn't walk into this company expecting anything to be handed to me. I earned my position, earned my respect, and earned every opportunity that came my way.
Cameron?
He makes everything look effortless.
He walks into the office, does his job, turns on that stupid charm, and somehow everyone is impressed by him.
Meanwhile, I'm over here wondering how a grown man can be so damn irritating.
He's cocky.
He's sarcastic.
He's rude.
And he always has something to say whenever I'm around.
We've worked together before, so I already know what happens when Cameron Sterling and I are put on the same project.
Arguments.
Eye rolls.
Petty competition.
And me counting down the minutes until I can finally go home.
So when our boss assigns us to work together again on one of the company's biggest projects, I'm not exactly excited.
But I've done this before.
I know how to deal with him.
At least, I thought I did.
Because this time, something feels different.
We're spending more time together. We're talking more. I'm seeing sides of Cameron I've never bothered to notice before.
And somehow, the man I've spent so long complaining about is becoming the man I can't stop thinking about.
The problem?
**I've never looked at Cameron Sterling that way.**
Not once.
He was just my coworker.
My competition.
The man I couldn't stand.
Until suddenly...
**he wasn't.**
And now I have to figure out what's worse:
Working with the man I hate...
or realizing I might actually be falling for him.
