When a sneeze, a candle, and some really old wallpaper team up, an entire historic house goes up in flames.....and that's just the first five minutes of my childhood. I'm Blondie, and this is the completely true (mostly) story of me, my best friend Boo, and my little brother The Goob growing up wild in the Mississippi Delta and Arkansas in the 1960s and '70s. From getting expelled for ghost-hunting at Miss Black's School for Boys, to accidentally capturing a bank robber (with a little help from a pitchfork and Elvis Presley), to burning down landmarks, car chases in golf carts, and one very memorable trip to a Gentleman's Club, trouble has a way of finding us.This isn't your sweet, nostalgic Southern memoir. This is the unfiltered, laugh-out-loud chaos of three boys with more bad ideas than common sense, a doctor dad who somehow kept us alive, and enough mischief to make Huck Finn look like a hall monitor. If you love wild coming-of-age adventures, Southern humor, and stories that feel like sitting on a porch swapping the best (and worst) tales of your life, buckle up. Things only get crazier from here. Welcome to the Southern Adventure Series. First stop: Me, Boo, and The Goob.
