The documented shenanigans I encounter working on a farm for the summer. There will be goats, there will be bees, and there may be pictures of both. AKA this is my first time working as an official farmhand, which is an experience that not a lot of people get in the U.S, and I thought I could write about some of it.

Everyone longs for just a few more days with a relative who died. She just got her wish.

All I knew how to do was run. When I got my first heartbreak, I ran. When I failed to finish a chore, I ran. When my father took advantage of me, I ran. But I never ran away. Until the war began.
