As a woman in the Northern water tribe life is difficult, especially if you want to fight. When Kai-Lin turned 5, she learned she could water bend. She wanted to fight but was told she could only learn to heal. One day, Kai-Lin found a fire bending scroll. She practiced water bending but in the form of fire bending. The year is 253 AG, and we have a new Avatar named Kairo. As he struggles with airbending, he faces his first mission. Kairo, Gyila, and Mona face a new threat from the Northern Water Tribe, much like the Unalaq incident. Only this time, his grandson Varran wants to free Vaatu, who has been growing inside of Raava this whole time. Will these three young adults be able to defeat Vaatu? Or will the world be caught in the darkness? This is a fanfiction that is set after Avatar Korrra's demise. Most of the characters are original characters. I do not own the ATLA & LoK universe by any means. Most of the plot is canon. Maybe a few adjustments can be made along the way.

Her dad. and all the men of the water tribe. this is a oneshot and take place about 4 years after and let's just imagine that this is before the comics North and south, and they already rebuilt the southern water tribe.

The hundred year war is over, Zuko is Fire Lord, Toph has opened a metalbending school, Aang's fulfilling his Avatar duties, Sage and Sokka are moving back to the Southern Water Tribe, but where does that leave Katara? With both being offered by her younger brother figure Aang, and her bestfriend Zuko, she was confused.

Takeo was Zuko's best friend as a kid and Mai's little Brother. He was always the more levelheaded one in their friend group along with Ty Lee. The last time he saw any of his friend was right after Zuko got banished in front of all the kingdoms nobility. He ended up having to go along with the banished prince and deeply resents him for it. For nearly three years he had been stuck at sea with the whining boy on an impossible quest to capture the avatar, the Legendary master of all four elements that disappeared just over a hundred years ago. Takeo had lost all hope of ever finding him. He was struck a deal though, he would be allowed to return home when he was 19, so Takeo bided his time. The years passed with Takeo filling with more and more anger and resentment day by day until, they actually found him! The avatar was alive, he was formidable, he was a 12-year-old child that kept besting them at every turn.

The Avatar is the protector of the world, and the only being who can master all four elements. Fire, air, water, and earth. Throughout the Avatar's life they have many teachers, but some Avatars are blessed with the best teacher they could ever ask for. The Lavisar. The Lavisar occurs once every couple of generations, born of the same element of their Avatar. They are a guide, advisor, and guardian. Granted with wisdom far greater than some spirits, and the courage and strength of an entire army. --- Hekima is an airbender. She's a wildcard and a daredevil, with a side of sarcasm and a hint of wisdom far beyond her years. She mastered airbending at the age of thirteen, two years later, her little brother figure, Aang, mastered it at twelve. They've always been inseparable, hardly ever fought. No matter what anyone did, you couldn't break their connection and their undying love for eachother.
