Book Three of the Honor and Glory Trilogy Six years after defeating Miraak and saving the entire world for the second time, Ylva Sky-Shatterer finds herself in the middle of a new kind of adventure: motherhood. Her twin children, a boy and a girl named Jergen and Embla, keep her on her toes. They've already proven their natural battle prowess and inclination towards the warrior's way, not to mention tempers that burn brighter than dragon fire and wanderlust spirits. Even with the help of her husband, Ylva wonders how she'll survive raising these two into adulthood. But her temperamental and wild children become the least of her worries when an old friend brings her important--and terrifying--news. The Aldmeri Dominion's presence in Skyrim has tightened, and the wretched Thalmor now walk through the lands with a new authority. They punish indiscriminately, and they have no mercy. Ylva will not stand for the injustice, and now has to face her biggest challenge yet. She has to unite the people of Skyrim under one common battlecry and drive those High Elves back to the lands from which they came. In order to win, Ylva must rely on those she thought she'd never trust, and forge bonds stronger than Skyforge steel. In the end, she knows that they will either win, or Sovngarde will welcome them all. NOTE: Bethesda owns all rights to the Skyrim characters in this fanfiction. Two halves of a whole. That's what my brother and I are. As we were little, no one could tell the difference between us. After all we are twins. But as time progressed, and we grew older, it became easier to tell us apart. And that is when things became dangerous. You see, when I reached the age for maturity my brother forbid me to go out on my own. He said it was for my safety, though I didn't believe him. I was stupid not to. And because of my stupidity, our lives were changed forever. My brother, in a desperate attempt to protect me from a feral Vampire that happened across my wounded form, became a Vampire himself. While I....was forcibly turned into a Werewolf due to the creature that had gotten to me just moments before. Now we live in solitude, hiding away from the rest of the world while doing our best to survive. Taking odd jobs when in need of coin and hunting for fresh meat and blood to keep us filled. For years we lived like this, peaceful and safe from harm. But it seems as if the Gods have other plans for us. Plans that place the fate of Nirn in our hands and the lives of many on our shoulders.
