"Wh-what?" I asked. Quit stuttering, Angel! "Go. On. A. Date. With. Me." he answered slowly like I was dumb or something. I rolled my eyes and said, "I heard you alright." Ok, I'm back to being my sarcastic self again. "That's what I thought." he mumbled and again, I rolled my eyes. "What I mean is, WHY?" I asked getting annoyed already. Is he playing some stupid tricks on me? "Why not?" he answered shrugging. "That's it?.. Then, NO." I said sternly while standing up. He stood up too and held my shoulders. "No? Why?" he asked getting frustrated. "Just. No." I answered shortly. "Ugh. Ok, ok. Why do you have to be so stubborn?" he mumbled the last part but fortunately/unfortunately, I heard it. "Excuse me? If I'm stubborn, why are you asking me on a date?" I folded my arms over my chest. He moved closer to me leaning a bit so our eyes could meet and our faces only few centimeters apart. "Because.." he started using a husky voice. "Hmm." was all I can say not trusting my voice. Our closeness now was killing me. "Because I.. I like you.." he stuttered a bit but quickly composed himself. I felt my cheeks heated not only because of our closeness but also because of his confession. He likes me. OhMyGod. Breathe, Angel. Breathe. ********** Meet Angel, a girl who doesn't believe in fairytales and happy endings because of a heartbreak she experienced from her first boyfriend, first love.. And then there's Sean, a boy who does believe in it for some known reason.. It was tragic but it was indeed, a great love.. Till death.. Till the end.
