After space pilot Kanook finds his missing friend Navin and crew on Jena, one of the forbidding planet MDKN 0097's moons, Commander K. orders them to return to base. But Navin and his friends have defected to Jena with a reason. Verga, representative of a highly evolved species living in a city under the surface of Jena, fears human domination and wants trusted humans to protect his fragile, nonviolent species. Commander K. knows the market value of this discovery and orders an invasion of Jena. Kanook wonders how Jena's unarmed beings are going to counter this. This is the final chapter of this story (6000+ words). If readers like this story, I will continue this as a mini-series, parallel to my Lara's Mission -- The Netherworld Chronicles starting from tomorrow(fantasy/adventure).
