Rik and Remmy struggle for their lives amid a planetary invasion while they explore the growing bond between them based on a miraculous new technology.

They emerged from the dark matter between the galaxies and struck. Within minutes the military guard to the border of dark space had been neutralised, its last few survivors crashing down to the nearby planet. With no mode of communication, the crew looks for a way to tell the intergalactic society that trouble is on its way without drawing a second attack from the skies. Little do they realise, the poison the vicious creatures unleashed has already infected some of their own and the greatest danger to their lives may come from beside them, not above.
