When a comet threatens to destroy all life on Earth, humanity comes together in unexpected ways to find a solution. That solution - as so many solutions do - creates its own problems. How do you keep an impending disaster secret and prevent mass panic? Another life form, older than mankind and as intelligent, is encountered, and inadvertently brought to Earth. What does it mean to be 'human'? What does 'life' mean? Can the definitions of either 'human' or 'life' change? What happens when humanity finds that 'life' and 'human' mean more than they know? The interaction between the two species - human and Hive - forms the basis for a story that could span hundreds of years. This is a story about the start of the first 200 years.

Every day of his life, Jaxsen had to run for his life, fighting to stay alive. The dead hunted him, hunted anyone left still standing after the outbreak that had nearly destroyed the world. For eighteen years, this was the life Jaxsen had known, one half alive. The dead were monsters, with red eyes and decaying flesh. The world he lived in, was hell, and the creatures that hunted him were devil's spawn. From a young age, Jaxsen Lars had one mission: to survive. For years, he and his family searched military bunkers for one secret that the government kept: a way off the planet should the need arrive. To escape into the stars was Jaxsen's dream, and he'll push himself dead to help his family find that one kept secret. Desperate and starving, his group of family and friends finds the space ship that will take them to their new home. A course has already been set, and they leave Earth behind, hoping to reunite with others that left before them. But Jaxsen soon realizes that nothing comes without a price. When his ship, the Denver, stumbles upon the broken remains of four ships, three that look eerily similar to the Denver, and one that looks nothing of this world, they set out to uncover what had happened. Within the broken remains he finds a girl, one with a familiar face. Together, Jaxsen and Rylie work together to uncover the mystery to what had happened to her people. But far beyond the stars the virus finds them. And Jaxsen begins to question everything he thought he knew about what it means to survive.

by Lynda Williams (cover art by Michelle Amy Milburn) The Okal Rel Universe is a future where the cultural and biological evolution of the human race has divided it into two societies: "Gelacks" and "Reetions." Gelacks are dominated by the neo-feudal descendants of an ancient bioengineering project that modified humans to tolerate reality skimming, a physically and mentally strenuous method of faster than light space travel which underpins the economy and culture of the Okal Rel Universe. The Reetions are the descendants of unmodified humans whose social system depends upon transparency moderated by a form of artificial intelligence known as arbiters. Each race has advantages and handicaps, physical or cultural. In this official guide by author Lynda Williams, you will discover an ever-increasing treasure trove of information and insight into the Okal Rel Universe.

The Elemental Kings. A group as old as the creation of the universe. For millions of years, they protected the universe from all threats, travelling though space on the backs of the Dragons. Then, the Deadspark came. Ancient and powerful, not even the god-like Elementals could stand against it, and after a desperate struggle, they were slain along with the Dragons. It took the Makers themselves, returned from deep-space, to lock away the Deadspark in a realm of Nothing. Now, a new generation of Elementals protects the Galaxy, but the Deadspark is marshalling its unholy servants, and a battle like never seen before approaches. And the Elementals are broken. One fell in combat. Another, by treachery of one of their own. One broken and beaten to madness by his friend's and families deaths. To fight the old threats and the new, they must finally unite again. And, of course, find out about the threat bearing down on them. Four years in the planning, The Eleventh King is written by Jax (username JaxSeib) and Levi (anangrywom6at). To see the hopeful reboot to this, read Sunrise.

(Note: This is the old version. It is preferable if you read the current/new version.) For all their life, J. Pappas has been a reader and a writer. They have written about many things - cats, owls, humans, and dragons; they've read stories about distant futures, fantastic worlds, and epic adventures. But now a new genre of literature has arisen - "woke" literature. This type of literature has erased the memories of those old stories that J. and past generation loved to read, infecting those who read it with ideologies than wonder. And worse, the next generation is being exposed to its horrors. J. had to do something to combat this. And so, they wrote and wrote and wrote. Story after story after story. Many weren't working, but one stayed in their head. This is that story - a distant planet that mimics our times, but it not ruled by humans. It is ruled by dragons, and humans are the aliens of that planet.
