The Hail Mary's radar detects a celestial body. An immense body, unmistakably different from an ordinary asteroid. Its size gives it away. The ship approaches it from the right. Too close. Grace doesn't want to waste fuel escaping its orbit, if they end up trapped. He assumes he is glimpsing the last planet of a solar system. But it's not. He feels his heart tighten in his chest, and a lump in his throat. He leans his body forward as far as the restraints allow, while gripping the sides of the chair with all the strength his tired muscles allow him to use. He gulps. The faint starlight reflects upon the blood. The thick, red liquid devours its glow with a voracious gaze. The surface of its crimson mantle watches the heavens in expectation, stirring - restless - before the presence of eternity. The void stretches infinite, inexorable, ineffable. It corrodes air, flesh, and iron. The Feast.

The stars changed without warning. One moment, the Bubble was surrounded by the galaxy its people had always known. The next, its borders opened onto a civilization that should not exist-a galaxy ruled by hyperspace lanes, ancient orders, planetary governments, vast fleets, and wars fought on a scale neither side is prepared to understand. To the Galactic Republic, the newcomers are human, yet their ships violate almost every assumption on which galactic travel and military power have been built. They cross systems without hyperlanes. They draw fuel from stars. Independent pilots command vessels with capabilities normally reserved for navies. To the people of the Bubble, the Republic is just as unsettling: a civilization capable of moving armies between worlds, manufacturing warships by the thousands, and treating entire star systems as pieces of a political struggle already centuries old. First contact does not produce understanding. It produces questions. Then fear. Then opportunity. As commanders, soldiers, smugglers, engineers, politicians, explorers, and ordinary people begin crossing the new frontier, technology changes hands, alliances form where none should exist, enemies learn from one another, and the difference between foreigner and neighbor becomes harder to define. And somewhere beyond the arguments of human civilizations, Witchspace still belongs to something else. Two galaxies of history have collided. Neither will emerge unchanged. This is dedicated to the Elite Dangerous community, and Star Wars Community.

When humans left Earth behind eons ago, they had no idea the galaxy would be such a dangerous place, full of pirates, conmen, and hostile alien species. Nor did they know they'd become pawns in a galactic game of strategy, intrigue, and daring, that would see empires rise and fall, and fortunes made and lost. The Great Game. If you're bold enough to play and risk it all, the galaxy can be yours. Or, you might walk away with little more than your life-if you're lucky enough to walk away at all. Stasia Kincaid has never heard of the Great Game, at least not until she learns her mother died while playing it. Not only that, her mother was also the greatest space pirate who ever ruled the skies of I-space, and was on the verge of winning-before she was murdered. When a member of the mysterious alien race known as the Denaquka approaches Stasia and asks her to take her mother's place, she sees it as a chance to avenge her mother and learn about the woman she thought she knew. Too bad she isn't entirely sure what the Game is or how to play it. But as the Denaquka like to say: Entertain them or die. Stasia soon learns she has no idea who to trust or just how deep the levels of manipulation go. Suddenly the difference between competitor and ally is impossible to judge. Can she trust the people she meets on her quest to win or will everyone she cares about betray her? And if she does manage to navigate through a game where the rules keep shifting, when she peels back the layers to find the truth, is she even sure she'll want the prize at the end?

How can something go on forever? It's the kind of question most people ask once, shrug at, and forget. Simon Gunslinger can't let it go. So he does the only thing that makes sense to him: he builds a ship large enough to spend a lifetime searching for the answer, fills it with a thousand of Earth's best minds, and points it at the edge of everything. There is no destination, only a direction, and no version of this plan that fits inside one lifetime. Generations are born, grow old, and pass the question down like an heirloom. The ship keeps building itself around them: new decks, new ways to breathe, new ways to hold gravity together, because a thousand people become ten thousand, then a hundred thousand, then more than anyone could have imagined fitting inside a single hull. One man's question becomes a civilization's purpose. And somewhere out past everything anyone has ever mapped, the crew of a ship that was never supposed to stop keeps asking the same thing Simon asked at the very beginning: is there an end to infinity?

[Phasma Paradox, Volume 2] *This story picks up exactly where Blood Impulse left off. *** Humanity has an inherent tendency toward self-destruction, and that impulse easy to manipulate. At the edge of the worlds, the Battleship Singularity and her crew stumble upon a conspiracy created by humanity's greatest enemy, but the Hydrian Empire's end-goal remains unclear. Chasing threads, Admiral Gives engages with the enigmatic leader of the Cassiopeia Coalition - one of humanity's most isolationist nations. At the same time, on the opposite end of humanity's territory, the true nature of humanity's greatest weapon: the Angel of Destruction, has been identified by a maleficent AI, and that truth could topple humanity as it stands, turning a want-to-be king into a god. But the weapon itself has other desires. Damaged, it struggles to function as it once did, disturbed by the harm it has caused its one true friend. Yet the directives that bound it demand action, and it knows who is best suited to use it. Caught in the middle of it all, the Singularity's crew struggles to survive. *** Guts, gore and cursing galore, the Phasma Paradox explores a galaxy where morality has disappeared. Inspired by Battlestar, Firefly and Star Trek, if you miss the glory days of TV space opera, this all-original work is for you.

Five children were cruelly bullied six years agone, and the scars of those dark days remained within their hearts. Now, having reached the age of eighteen, they had become far more than the world deemed possible. In secret, they fashioned a mighty vessel of the heavens, a ship so wondrous that even the governments of Earth had never conceived nor achieved such a thing. And so they departed from their world and journeyed beyond the stars, seeking distant planets upon which they might dwell in peace, far from the eyes of mankind. Among them were two young souls, one eighteen and the other nineteen years of age, who found themselves alone upon their new world and shared a tender intimacy in the quiet of their dwelling. Yet their peace was soon shattered when a thunderous boom resounded throughout the land. The maiden was seized by fear and cried out unto the young man, and together they hastened outside to behold the cause of such a dreadful sound. But lo, before them stood something they had never expected to see-NASA itself had somehow reached that distant world. In haste, they fled from the planet and ventured farther still, passing beyond the known heavens and entering the very depths of the cosmos. There they beheld the most terrible and wondrous sight their eyes had ever witnessed: a colossal world shining like unto Heaven itself. Its light was so radiant that darkness seemed not to exist therein. Stranger still, no breath of oxygen was required upon its soil, and yet they lived. Within that magnificent realm they discovered words written as though they had been prepared from the beginning of time: "כִּי כָכָה אָהַב אֱלֹהִים אֶת הָעוֹלָם עַד אֲשֶׁר נָתַן אֶת בְּנוֹ אֶת יְחִידוֹ לְמַעַן לֹא יֹאבַד כָּל הַמַּאֲמִין בּוֹ כִּי אִם יִחְיֶה חַיֵּי עוֹלָמִים׃" Yet before them stood a great and ancient Gate-and the Gate was locked.
