*** This is the first 4 chapters as a sample to see if you like the story and my writing style before committing to paying for it. *** A dangerous job. A mining disaster. A declaration of love that may have come too late. Her job in a space station requires nerves of steel and a cold heart, but Lennina is paralyzed with fear for the life of her work partner each time there's an earthquake on the planet's surface. Her jealous boyfriend accuses her of having an affair with him and turns to violence when she denies it. Bruised and broken, she ends the relationship. Then when a quake traps miners underground, she discovers her work partner means more to her than life itself. As a new telepathic ability manifests itself, can Lennina use it to save the man she loves? TOUCH OF LIGHTNING is an exciting first book in the Lightning Touch Series that will transport sci-fi and paranormal fans to a distant space station, filled with suspense, danger, and romance. If you like reading stories about low-spice relationships with a slow-burn forbidden love and sassy, witty banter, you'll love this friends-to-lovers sci-fi adventure with a HEA. © 2024 Susan McKenzie. Rhea has been alone on the planet of Elysium for over a year now. At first it wasn't so bad, she had daily check-ins with Gloria, and the thrill of learning about this new world kept her going. It didn't take long for the solitude to wear on her though, and even her daily check-ins felt shorter and shorter. About a month ago, something changed. Gloria disappeared and was replaced with Kel, a handsome and polite young man. When Kel asks Rhea to speak to him privately, she begins to understand that perhaps her being alone here wasn't the accident that she was led to believe it was and now the two of them must work together to get Rhea out of her purple paradise before dark forces can lead her to hell. This is a prequel of TV show "The 100". It was written back in 2019. The whole story is under a complete rewritten. What you see here is just the original with a little edit. Becca Franco, the Pramheda, was a brave heroine who played a important role in both the Ark and the grounder's culture. She's also a prestigious scientist who tried her best to save others. I was deeply touched by her brief yet impressive story line in "The 100". This whole series are dedicated to her. Book one tells you the story before and after the first apocalypse. They are about extreme global warming scenario, future AI development, nuclear war and the people involved. The story mostly centers around Becca. How she made a super-intelligent AI and caused the nuclear war. The whole series are written for "The 100" fans. All three books fit nicely with everything happened in the TV Series. Yet they only take accounts of Season 1 to 5. Season 6 and 7, IMOH, shouldn't have made at all.

Sir Isaac Newton predicted the world would end before 2090. He was right. Now, the Travellers-people who can "remember" their own futures-have determined that Earth's final day is just weeks away. Jack Scatter is an ordinary teenager with the normal concerns that come with life in a small farming community: school, his job, and a long-distance relationship with Sarah. Sarah Rogers is smart, ambitious, and wants a role in saving her world's endangered species. But their home towns are on Cirrus, a planet-sized space station, and Newton's prophecy threatens both worlds. When Jack and Sarah uncover a scheme by Pieter Reynard, a Traveller, to bring about his own version of the apocalypse, they're launched on an adventure that spans two worlds. While Jack runs, trying to stay ahead of Pieter's thugs, Sarah uncovers more secrets and becomes a target. But Pieter is not the only Traveller, and not the only one plotting. The final hours of the prophecy are counting down. The Travellers see different versions of the future but agree that Jack and his friends will be at the center of events. Can they save Earth and Cirrus? Just one? Neither? Either way, millions may suffer. Set in the late twenty-first century, BROKEN SKY is a YA science-fiction adventure, the first of a trilogy where magic increasingly replaces technology, and dragons have political ambitions.

After a mysterious apocalyptic event, humanity fled Earth and reached the stars. In an effort to repopulate the human race, a space station the size of a moon was built, and now orbits Earth as its inhabitants wait and pray to one day go home, but, after a century, the network of society that once covered the planet has crumbled into ruin. Now, exactly one hundred years after the original survivors fled Earth, the powers that be have decided to discover whether it is safe to come home. Twenty teenagers, all found to be in perfect health and completely strong, each with a particular set of skills that have been determined to be enough to rebuild and maintain a society, are being sent back, down to the Earth's surface, and, if they can survive a year and a day below, it might just be safe enough for the remnants of humanity to follow them home. Among the unwitting teens are the genius scientist, Rooke, and the fighter, Evan. After her parents broke the law by contacting someone-or something-off the space station, Rooke was taken into the program without knowing why. After making the worst mistake of his life, Evan, too, finds himself paying for his crimes when he, like Rooke, finds himself on a spaceship, hurtling towards Earth, Together, they, and eighteen others, all between the ages of twelve and eighteen, must find a way to survive on an inhospitable, alien planet that should have been their home. But, when it turns out they might not be alone, when bad things start happening, and when secrets come to light, survival might just come at too high a price to pay. #campNaNoWriMo

When a series of gruesome homicides occur in the slum district of Kings-03, after the mysterious impact of the U.F.O., 6th sense Psychologist, Dr. Jean Flare, from the Psychical Technology Research Development Agency (PSYCHREDA), is then charged to test a prototype tool she invented, the Ecto Sight Gear, an equipment that allows her to perceive the spirit of the dead to communicate with, in order to gather information about their deaths and murderers. As she manages to link up these crimes to the invading extraterrestrial, she is urgently requested to team up with Detective Powell in order to put these wanted suspects into custody. This is the third part to Caillou and Rosey commit crimes at 3AM so if you haven't read that and/or Caillou and Rosey: Most wanted then read those ones first or you won't understand what's happening lol. While Caillou and Rosey are trying to get into the space station, Y/n goes up to them and asks to commit crimes with them, Caillou accepts Y/n's off er, mostly because he wants to kill Rosey but can't commit crimes on his own. Enjoy this Chaos! For there will be more. This time, Isabelle and I both wrote the story instead of one of us writing it and the other one editing it. I edited some of it but we both wrote it equally. So thank you @izzythechildeater for helping me yet again with these books, Isabelle made the cover as well.
