A girl at 20 years old is a busker on the streets of New York, with a dream of being the lead on a broadway show. She's saved by the Avengers after a late night attack that ultimately leaves her with powers beyond her control. Can The Avengers help contain her new powers, or will they allow them to go haywire. And what happens when someone one of the Avengers starts to feel things he hasn't in a long time. || Set between Age of Ultron and Civil War but it's in 2024 instead but it's kind of a non-existent timeline in the story || First draft started 9/10/2024 (9th of October for Americans).

Artemis doesn't remember anything about her past, only her name. She had one job only, and it was to go to the addresses sent by text through her burner phone, save the person from harm and leave for the next place assigned. She doesn't know who sends the texts, nor who sends the hits to the victims. That was how she went by her day until she started to get hunted down, having the unfortunate luck of being in New York City at the same time as Captain America and Black Widow. She didn't have anything more interesting to do unless you counted stealing for a living and killing assholes for fun. So she gave being friends with heroes a try, choosing to see what's it like to be on the right side of the law.
