Persecuted for their differences and damned by the humans who fear them follow along as our characters fight for their freedom, their friends and their survival. This story was made for school purposes. This is about the first fight of Spartacus' revolt after he and the other slaves escaped from the colosseum

Gannicus is the champion of House Batiatus. Given wine and whores as rewards for victories in the arena. Then Gannicus see something, or rather someone, that he wants above all others. Turns out, Batiatus can't give him what he wants. Why? Because the boy he begins to have feelings for is untouchable. Promised to another to gain favor for his horrible family. But as everyone knows, Gannicus gets what he wants. Consequences be damned.

She disobeyed and betrayed Leonidas the king of Sparta because he fell in love with her. So he exiled her to live a pretty lonely and sad on Chamlies island. Except that her dream life, to live alone and prosper in a big dreamy island.

I might say she wants to be on your good side, my friend.” My headsnapped at the sound of his voice. She was too familiar. I looked directly into dark-brown eyes that were deeper and sadder than the woods I stumbled through on my first days. I could not stop staring into these eyes. Something about him, not only his voice, reminded me of something that happened what felt like an eternity ago. His gaze also lingered on my face, taking in every detail. I wanted to ask him who he was and why he seemed so familiar. But Lorsan’s loud voice interrupted this moment: “Ah, Gannicus, you shall be right. But if her mind changes feel free to tame this beast as you did in the arena.” Both men, and everyone around, laughed at that. My eyes widened in shock, not only because of this obvious threat, but because of the name.

'Gladiator of Rome: Short Stories' will be a collection of short stories and bonus chapters around each of the main characters from the first novel in the trilogy; Gladiator of Rome. Each story will be a stand-alone tale and although some of the stories may take place within the time frame that the trilogy is set most of the stories will be focusing on the origins of each character and therefore not in the trilogy. Her name was Athena, but as Glabber and his men captured Spartacus and his wife. But Athena got away. For two weeks she ran before eventually being captured. She was from Dominus to Dominus before eventually landing up by chance in the house of Batiatus. She was untouched. To protect her Oenomaus went to Batiatus and asked for her hand in marriage.
