He was saved by a Spartan Four Units who were deployed to defend the Colony, Connor's unbroken spirit has captured the attention of their commander, who saw in him the strength to endure. Offering a chance to rise up from the ashes, He was recruited into the Spartan program. His journey did not begin as a symbol.

This story takes place in a fantasy world where demons, humans, and faunus (humans with animal qualities) fight for survival. A world where the rifle is shunned in favour for the sword and sheild. The Visean kingdom has recently defeated the Demon Queendom in a war and has secured a large amount of territory and also allowing other kingdoms to form such as the Empire of Japan with its famous samurai and the Spartan Kingdom with its legendary Spartan warriors. The king of the Visea kingdom was not a nice man. He had 4 sons. 3 were skilled warriors. However, the eldest, William, was looked down upon. While he was proficient as a sword, he served as a strategist for the Kingdom's armies. While the people loved him most of his family despised him. Therefore his father disowned him and exiled him to a distant village. Separated from the Kingdom as a separate country William saw this as an opportunity to build this village into a great empire. And on his journey he will bring concepts and ideas from his own world together. He will meet many people on this journey of revenge. And who knows maybe he will find love along the way? Due to a shortage of able candidates, only 17 subjects could be put through the program. Freak accidents during augmentations lead to one capable candidate of the program... A Spartan and an A.I crash into a strange world after making direct contact with an energy anomaly. A strange world filled with black beasts and teenagers running around with dangerous weapons. In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. Fighting for humanities very existence, untold numbers of UNSC forces will lay down their lives so that countless others may live. This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time). That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen. So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it. Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.
