The Spartans are widely known as humanities saviours. Heroes in the flash, at least to the public. Although the Spartan-II project is still classified, even less is known about a little side project Dr. Halsey had been working on in secret, kept so close to the vest there wasn't a single file in the ONI or UNSC database on it: the Pandora project. While on some well hidden planet for the Spartans to train and hone their skills, Silver Team is called into action after a ship crashlands onto their world. With the galaxy at war, the location of this planet is considered extremely sensitive, not even having a name. Taking no chances with this unknown vessel, command is quick to decide on the elimination of the possible threat. The Spartans' orders: shoot to kill on sight. It is only after they find their supposed enemy that both surprise and a hint of shock fill the base. The news both shocking and slightly sickening to some: it turns out the Spartans weren't Halsey's last victims after all. For all the cold shoulders and suspicious glares given by Marines - shit falling from space was never good - it were the Spartans who slowly took a liking to the newcomer. If anything, it made for an interesting addition to their daily lives. With the scientists trying to figure out how this person's powers were even possible, command is left a difficult choice: kill them, or try to gather more information on the project and possibly even locate the disgraced and deserted Dr. Halsey? With no better options available, it is decided to have the Spartans be in charge of the newcomer; easier in case elimination becomes necessary. Will this mystery from the sky turn out to be a blessing or curse in disguise? -●- I do not own anything of Halo, obviously. Using my own scenarios, I will strive to stay true to the characters' personalities. While set more in the game style, there's the addition of Kai, Riz and Vannak for Silver Team with OG Master Chief.

Edward 0-1-3 is a Spartan-II, operating under the callsign Spector, and proudly serves the UNSC by fighting the Covenant. Then, John-117, better known as The Master Chief, deals a decisive blow to The Covenant, forcing them to retreat and restore their strength. Now with nothing better to do, Edward is approached by The UNSC High Command, who are looking for someone to investigate a rogue element within the UNSC. Assigned to Blood Gulch with the rank of Corporal, Edward is forced to deal with Four Idiots, a Sociopath, a Psychopath, a fuckin' Ghost, a Spanish Robot, and One Moderately Redeemable, Womanizing-Failure of a Black Man. However, having to face the challenges of Blood Gulch, a Homicidal Megalomaniac's Plans force Spector and his ragtime Team out of the canyon they reluctantly call home, to the cold plains of Sidewinder, a hall of Teleporters, and even the depths of the future. Of course, Spector is being watched by Covenant Recon Times, Project: Freelancer, and a mysterious Third Party...

For Spartans Jax-007, Ria-031, Kai-119, and Vance-142, the war was simple calculus: duty, data, and defense. But during a quiet decompression period back on Reach, their sterile world is invaded by the messy reality of the civilians they protect.
