When demons are at her tail, her mother sees no other way than to tell her daughter everything. That Elaine is in fact Satan's child and they're after her. with only a sword she was told to never draw and a phone with only one number saved on it, she is cast out of her home. School, that's all I had time for. I didn't care about parties, being pretty, being stylish, or having a boyfriend. All I wanted was to finish school with a 4.0 GPA. I had no family since they died when I was 10. I've been living alone since then. No one talks to me, no one looks my way. It's like I'm invisible. That was before he came. He was a sweet boy. But of course his dear saint of a father is not in the picture, and Axel is set on finding him. But of course, being a devil has it's down sets. In his mind, war has been waged. Nikki has just been ripped apart from her quiet little town in Texas, to live in Chicago and attend her last year of highschool there. And of course, she doesn't want that. Like, REALLY doesn't want to. Against her will, she's here. But mysterious Axel seems to make the move worth it..but how many secrets can be kept in?

The way everyone looked at me. The hate, anger, confusion, frustration, just made me hate them more. I don't know what I did. but all my life people have stared at me that way. I used to go to the small church in my town. Just to get away, to pray or to sit. Sunday was always a special day for me. Going to church with or without my foster parents.
