In the fog covered streets of 1920s South San Francisco, sixteen-year-old Elias is sent to live with his Aunt and Uncle after his parents are murdered protecting him from the Italian mob. But inside Hops, a warm café, cigar lounge, and hidden speakeasy glowing with enchanted paintings, sacred candles, whispered spells, and ancient Mexican brujería. Elias discovers a secret world buried beneath the city's fog. As spirits move through the walls and mysterious animal guardians awaken to his presence, Elias learns his bloodline is tied to powerful magic older than the city itself. Meanwhile, the Italian mob returns searching for Jean, a vanished pregnant woman accused of killing a mobster heir, and the missing child connected to their family. With danger closing in from both the living and the supernatural, Elias must uncover the truth behind his parents' deaths before the darkness hiding beneath South San Francisco finds him first.

His introduction into your life matches his behaviour: rough and erratic. You can tell Sans has been keeping an eye on you since the first time he came to hear you sing, but you didn't expect he'd end up coming to you for a favour. It's a favour that might as well be considered a life-changing mission, with how the results could greatly affect the future of monsters and humans on the Surface. He insists it's not that big of a deal, but as each day gets increasingly complicated and bigger responsibilities fall on your shoulders, it feels like there's a lot more than meets the eye. Skip to a couple of months working under his wing, and he confesses his true motivation for having you alongside him since day one. • • • NOTICE: This work is based off Sooner or Later, You're Gonna Be Mine. The major differences from that alternate universe are that Frisk remains unchanged from the original Undertale universe, and the Reader replaces Frisk's role as a singer.

As alliances tighten and violence escalates, Las Vegas becomes a web of speakeasies, secrets, and spiraling consequences. Everyone is trying to stay in control. Nobody actually is. And in a city built on illegal spirits, the real danger might not be the alcohol at all-but the people drinking it.

(The artwork is not mine, and all credit goes to the rightful owners. I'm only using it because it's the only artwork of cats within the prohibition era that I can find) In the time of prohibition within America, many of America's citizens rebelled, and illegal bars named Speakeasies begun acquiring and selling bootlegged or traded alcohol. There is a renowned speakeasy, named Felidae, and whilst the owner deals with rivalry, two gangs oppose each other, each wishing to be the one who supplies Felidae with the alcohol it needs. There is violence, mystery, crime...murders. The police are useless, private detectives either wash their paws within the business, or investigate...and even the innocent can become prey. (Inspired by the webcomic 'Lackadaisy.')
