I do not exist. I only observe. The human I was assigned to has always chosen safety over courage. Ordinary over extraordinary. Silence over attention. But this human can hear what others try to hide-the fear behind forced smiles, the pain buried beneath excuses. When a boy at school begins to shrink under bruises and whispered threats, silence becomes heavier than fear. Reporting it once changes nothing. Walking away becomes harder each day. This is not a story about powers. It's a story about choice. Because sometimes bravery isn't loud. Sometimes it's just refusing to look away.

All my life, all I have known is "go with the flow..." keep your head down and follow. I have never been a leader but then one day something clicked, my loneliness consumed me and suddenly it felt like saying YES to everything wasn't good enough. I felt like I was a bad friend, I felt like I didn't deserve help and I felt my problems and struggles were insignificant in the face of others happiness. So this short poem is my battle cry, a way to tell myself that its ok to have a voice and to sometimes let a loved one down, for the sake of my mental health and to speak up. ps. I have never shared any poetry of mine with anyone cause I never thought they were good enough, so this is me taking the first step to being brave. I would love to know your feedback and the constructive criticism any of you have to offer. Hope you enjoy it.☺️

To be a bystander is almost as bad as being the oppressor. This poem features a scene from an Indian epic which illustrates this. # 10 speakup # 1 speakingup (25/7/20) # 58 injustice

When the silence gets louder than the words ever did. When staying starts to feel like disappearing. A reflection from somewhere in between.

Speaking up for home is a short book I had to write for my English, it's a fantasy story about a girl in a fantasy world learning to speak up. Edit: I wrote this 3 years ago and it kinda sucks, apologies to anyone who decides to read it.

Book about a young teenage girls trauma and her healing journey. How she managed to escape her situation alive and tell someone. Trigger Warning ⚠️ There are mentions of self-harm, bullying, fighting, CSA, and suicide. Please proceed with caution (or just pick a different book....) This book is emotional, and kind of like Girl In Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow or 13 Reasons Why.

Daniella Grey is the girl with the seemingly perfect life. Perfect looks, perfect boyfriend, perfect home, perfect life. But nobody can see through closed doors, or the mask she puts on to hide the truth. Her father, a successful business man by day, is a hardcore drunk at night, beating her mother and siblings, not to mention herself. The only place she finds solace is in her room, a brilliant silver blade in her hand. How can she possibly have it good when every moment feels like hell?
