Throughout middle school she has always struggled to speak up when talked down to, stand up when knocked over, you get the picture, but after meeting Christian, -the new boy from Canada- Via slowly starts to fall in love, and come out of her shell, but what happens if this transformation goes too far? Find out in this shy teen's journey through middle school!

A select number of poems I wrote some time ago. These poems are all completely different with separate morals, but there's several underlining lessons or life stories in them all. They're interesting and realistic. If you're looking for rainbows, this isn't the place.

It is about the struggle to speak up when I am held down by chains of mental illness, embarrassment, and/or feeling like nothing I say will ever matter to commonfolk. It is me speaking my internal feelings about a broken friendship.

Jade knew that this day was coming. Her life has been ripped to shreds by the rapists and the abusers. Now that she is 18, her life is flipped upside down when her dad beats her up and divorces her mom for no reason. Now, when two choices, suicide or asking someone to murder her, are in her hands, it's up to the help of a friend to save her from her stressful life. But could this friend be trusted, or will it kill her to hear their so-called tips?

Read the shy boy before reading this this is a story of not the shy boy but the shy boys friend his name is Alvin this story takes place just weeks after the shy boy committed suicide. This reveals what his friends thought about Melvin and the risks they where willing to take to protect him.

Alexis and all the other girls in the school are always chosen last for all activities. Even by teachers. And, it's time for Alexis to speak up. In her school boys rule everything, and all the girls are tired of it. So Alexis made all these poems to post around the school. To prove her point.

Esperanza Arce has managed to stay on the outskirts of life so far. She is content to lie in the shade of the maple tree that was planted the day she was born, alone with her thoughts. That all changes on her thirteenth birthday, her first day of seventh grade. It starts with a shove in the hallway, then a destroyed schedule, then notes in her locker. Esperanza and her new friend, Gabriela, become the targets of the school bully, and the harassment increases with each passing day. As Esperanza's life takes a turn for the worse, her maple is threatened by the surrounding elm trees that outnumber it by far. The bullying will either bring Esperanza and Gabriela closer or tear them apart. Silence is the safer option, Esperanza knows, but when Gabriela is danger, she must make her decision: watch the world she knows crumbling around her, or find the courage to speak up. WARNINGS: bullying/cyberbullying, physical and verbal abuse, threats, xenophobia, self harm, references to suicide. I will mark specific chapters with warnings and give summaries of those chapters on the following one. The town of Los Ebanos, New Mexico, does not exist to my knowledge, and neither does the Rodriguez Middle School. Any characters that share names to real people is a coincidence. Written in 2016 (age 12) and edited in 2019 (age 15)

The lights are turned off and it is still early in the morning. The sun hasn't even risen and we're still sleeping; however I am not. I'm restless. I know he'll be home soon and lll have to face him physically and emotionally and I'm just not prepared. He's entered the room and I tried to hide under the covers. But not matter how big my blanket is, for my twin size bed, it'll never be enough.. He'll always be a monster and I'll be the scared little girl.
