The Froud family leads a life defined by high-energy rugby matches, equestrian adventures, and the deep, protective bond they share with ten-year-old Quinn. Navigating the daily joys and challenges of Quinn's autism and sensory needs, the family works together to create a world where she can thrive. From big brother Benny's protective nature to Bea's quiet advocacy, each family member plays a vital role in their "Froud Fortress." Whether they are managing public meltdowns or building a custom sensory sanctuary at home, their journey is a heartwarming testament to resilience and unconditional love. Together, they prove that while life may be loud and chaotic, every small victory is worth celebrating.

The cause of autism is unknown, and there's no medication to cure it. I wanted to write down what it's like to have someone like her in your family, because it's quite interesting.

Verne's Momma had one rule which could never be broken. He could not reveal to any outsider what went on within their house. Verne knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that to violate that rule was to bring unholy tortures down onto his head. And so not a word passed his lips. Not during the twenty-five years he lived in the dank basement, curled up on the thin mattress. Not during the ten long years of his prison sentence. Until he made the mistake ... * * * Death Watch delves into the depths of horror which exist in our society. Despite our modern world's veneer of civilization, there are far too many who fall through the cracks. Who are abandoned to a darker world. A portion of all proceeds from this series benefit battered women's shelters.

When Emma lands a teaching job in the special needs industry, the last she'd expect is the near-zero work-life balance adding onto the horrendously low pay. Sure the kids are overly adorable, and that cute introverted teacher Joseph- who also happens to be seven years older than her- are incentives to coming to work in an ungodly hour. Those sweet genuine friends of hers are also probably the only thing that made her glad she chose this job. But Emma begins to question her life goals as each day passes. As she helps her autistic children in progressing through their important milestone, she realises there might be much more to her job than she'd thought. Because teaching children always helps you learn more than you've taught them, and Emma finds herself growing each day with each unique experience with her kids. A story about an unanticipated romance, whole lots of twisted day-to-day events, hidden hierarchies, and genuine love for the children in the autism spectrum. ***Based on my own true story ❤️*** #50 growing up
