Kelly's first impression of the boy who would become Batman is... Disclaimer - I don't own Batman Beyond. This was written for the first round of Fanfic Bootcamp. The goal was to write a story which was 100 words exactly and an OC's first experience with the fandom. Since I've got to go with what's canon, I simply delved into the fact Warren isn't Terry's biological father in this.

My dissertation was rated a 1:1 an it's especially helpful to read if you identify as female and have a hard time trying to get loved ones and friends to believe you have autism. That's actually a fundamental basis of my research. I knew from 12 but didn't get diagnosed until 17 because of those unfortunate social biases. I'm sharing this because I needed this when I was growing up and by "this" I mean something that is not too hard to digest, but accurate and educational, because sometimes understanding is all you need to stay afloat. My original story's title "I won't force you to love me" is kind of confrontational, so it should be interpreted as "I will not be a different person from the one I am, just to gain your approval". There are many more insights that might be added to the end, which couldn't fit in the 10-12k word limit. I'm just so excited to finally share it all, since I'm finally passed the assessment phase.

Pagtigil niya sa sinasabi ng babae. "It's a misunderstanding, hindi kita ninanakawan. I'm taking three steps back. You're safe, okay? I can explain." Nanatiling nakanganga ang babae na para bang hindi pa siya sigurado kung nangyayari ba talaga ito. "Magpaliwanag?!" The girl screeched, too high pitched for Edward's liking. "Magpaliwanag kung pano ka biglang nakapasok sa loob ng apartment ko? Ay paktay na, gandang storya nito, I can't waaait to hear it."

This is my first story. My stories have strange titles, which I also wanna say. -Tangerine is a 14 year old girl who gets abused because of her name. -She is a foster girl. -She needs a family. -She wants a head to work. -She wants her leg disability to stop paining. -She hates her ankle when it curses her.

Our true story about our ups, downs, discoveries, and mistakes of raising a child on the Autism Spectrum. I hope it can be inspirational and encouraging to others who are in the same colorful world we're in.

In the world we live in today, speaking seems to be the only way one knows how to communicate; as if it is the only way to communicate- or is it? There are many unique children, scattered around the world, who are labelled as, "special needs", or "autistic", or ADHD. And these labels usually come with a negative stigma attached to them. But, what if- what if these children were just... different? What if these children are here, to show us a different, and more unique way of living. What if they are not in need, of "special attention"? What if they are just: special. This fictional (or is it?) short story , is geared to change your perception about these children, and your view point on communication, and the way we as human beings- speak.

"Sunflower, there is a very old saying. All the way from back in my day. Let your freak flag fly. Remember that." Elliot would give his left leg to just be a normal fifteen-year-old boy. He was loved by some, yes, but not by the majority. The reason being that he's different. The way he thinks, the way he looks. The way he acts and the way he speaks. Elliot has Down Syndrome. A hopeless romantic, Elliot just wants to love a girl who loves him, but not out of pity. He feels nothing but compassion and love for others. He wants these feelings to be reciprocated. He wants to feel something. He doesn't want to come home and cry anymore due to the relentless bullying. This sunflower kid always sat alone. He grew up lonely, without a friend. That is, until he meets her.

The male protagonist of this story is Shravan Malhotra who has problems communicating and adjusting to social communities and conversing with them. He understands he is different but is happy in his own world. He is an excellent researcher in thermodynamics and lives in his world of research till he meets the perfect, beautiful and smart Suman Tiwari. She rocks his world but does she like Shravan the way he wants or just merely cares for him. Will Shravan be able to pursue his love knowing that Suman has a perfect boyfriend who embodies perfection the way she is. Will Suman ever fall for a guy who has challenges and struggles with ASD and ADHD on a day to day basis?
