Halle comes from a big family. She has a special needs little sister, her parents are looking to adopt a little blind girl, and still take care of all the kids they already have. Halle has school, takes dance classes downtown, is in the morning choir at her school and church, and is a part of the drama club which runs multiple shows all year. Plus she's trying to maintain a relationship with her best friends Jordan and Carter and possibly start new romantic interest. She's overwhelmed. Will she crack under the pressure? Jordi has lived with his mom and sisters all his life. His dad left him when he was young and the only other male role model in his life, his brother Dom, is always so critical of him and his love for dance, music and theatre. He has been bullied for it for as long as he can remember, with kids all over the school questioning his sexuality. But Dom is the only one that really matters to Jordi. He doesn't care too much what other people think. As Jordi struggles for acceptance he will figure out who he really needs in his life and who he doesn't.

"You're blind," Edward muttered almost to himself, shame washing over his body like a cold bath. Biglang humupa ang galit sa kanyang katawan at para bang siya'y nahilo. "Salamat sa pa-memo, ha? Hindi ko kasi alam!" May galit na sabi ng babae. "Black belter ako kaya wag na wag mong susubukan pang pumasok." "Shit...I-I'm sorry!" Nabubulol na sabi ni Edward. "Ano?!!" Tanong ng babae. Inilapit nito ang tenga na para bang hindi makapaniwala sa narinig. "Ha?! Nagsosorry ka? Nasa episode ba ako ng Wish Ko Lang na biglang ayaw mo na magnakaw kasi di mo pala kayang magnakaw sa bulag na walang kalaban laban? Nakakainsulto, kung alam mo-" "No, teka lang." Pagtigil niya sa sinasabi ng babae. "It's a misunderstanding, hindi kita ninanakawan. I'm taking three steps back. You're safe, okay? I can explain." Nanatiling nakanganga ang babae na para bang hindi pa siya sigurado kung nangyayari ba talaga ito. "Magpaliwanag?!" The girl screeched, too high pitched for Edward's liking. "Magpaliwanag kung pano ka biglang nakapasok sa loob ng apartment ko? Ay paktay na, gandang storya nito, I can't waaait to hear it."

My sister, Katie, has autism. It's a condition where no person with it is quite the same. It can effect the way they act, speak, and react in certain situations. The cause of autism is unknown, and there's no medication to cure it. I wanted to write down what it's like to have someone like her in your family, because it's quite interesting.

"Tomboy" The book is a fictional story about a character named Thomas Stroup, who is depicted as being mean and insulting to people. It follows his life from his days at Lakeview Middle School, through his time at Warsaw Community High School and Gateway Educational Center, until his graduation from the latter. The book highlights Thomas's difficult behavior, his lack of friends, and the impact he had on those around him. It also emphasizes the importance of treating others with kindness and respect, and the fact that we never know what someone else is going through.

What happens when stars fall to the earth? Surely their music doth not fade, surely the light in their eyes keeps shining. Surely adolescence and gaiety stays forever with them, yet gleaming with wisdom and faith. We sing our songs and we dance under the light of our peers. When we fall, we pick ourselves up.
