With the Ashavelli now rebuilding their civilization across the frontier colonies of their new homeworld, Ashavelli Prime formally "A3", tracking down a single person has become nearly impossible. Refusing to give up, Cade spends ferns searching for his "younger brother," Happy. Although he briefly saw him after the events of Resurrection, fear and uncertainty kept him from reaching out. A decision he has regretted. When Cade finally locates Happy, he vows not to let the opportunity slip away again. Their emotional reunion, however, is quickly overshadowed by an unexpected threat from the First Majah, Kari Shah, who insists that Cade not leave the protection and sanctuary of the royal chapel. Cade, not taking this particularly well, hires Corwin Penn to capture and bring Happy to him. The mission is successful, but when Happy develops Stockholm Syndrome toward Penn's eccentric personality, it becomes a problem.

Following the short return of peace on New Vestroia, calamity strikes them again. An alien race known as the Vestals have invaded and conquered New Vestroia, creating three Dimension Controllers to change the Bakugan them back into ball form and using the Bakugan as a form of entertainment. On top of that, five of the original Bakugan that helped restore order to New Vestroia have been captured, and Drago is now being targeted. With the help of Dan, Marucho, Shun, and the Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance;a group of Vestals who have discovered that Bakugan are sentient and are fighting for their freedom; Drago believes he will have enough power to not only release New Vestroia, but his dearest friends as well. Besides they are threat by newcomers who have no bakugans but they do have powers ( ice powers!!) and fighting combat skills.

At first I thought they were just normal playing cards so the humans from earth as well as other worlds invented this new game and that's when we realized that these cards were not so harmless at all. They contained incredible powers from a world called Vestroia, not long after six brave bakugan with their human companions saved both Vestroia and Earth from an evil that could have destroyed both worlds...his name was Naga. He was defeated by Drago and his partner Dan Kuso, in the end Drago was forced to sacrifice his freedom and become one with the both the infinity and silent cores and became New Vestroia's perfect core. Now some time has passed and once again New Vestroia is under threat, the bakugan became enslaved by the people of Vestals forced to fight as a source of their entertainment. I refuse to sit here and let the bakugan suffer once more, it is my responsibility to my partner to Lunafreya that I help her to free her people and protect New Vestroia even though I vowed to never go back.
