Welcome to our first-ever Echoes From the World. At @IdentityandCulture, we believe every story has a heartbeat and every culture has a secret. This activity is designed to bridge the gap between the stories we host in our reading lists and the diverse community that reads them. Together, we dive into our culture, spotlight a story, and challenge you, the people of the world, to decode a mystery. A girl was living her life, with normal things. All people except her most trusted people are criticizing her because they think that anime lovers are abnormal and annoying. But she can handle it. Is it real? She experiences twists and turns in her life and meet new people. She will also meet her true self.

"Bar on the corner of the street". This is a story about a young man and his friends from the "bar on the corner". Just try to remember that these friends are not quite human.

Greek Mythology is super interesting in my opinion and I'm sure a ton of you love reading about the various adventures and stories of the Greek Gods and Goddesses (especially in Percy Jackson). I, for one, think that Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, is awesome! She's one of the best warriors you could find in Greece, and a great leader too! So, since I had to make up a Greek Myth on the spot for one of my classes, I decided to put it up on Wattpad! This story is completely made up and it's just my own creation, so DON'T mistake it for an actual Greek myth/story. Artemis must capture the Golden Fleece to save her camp from Hades's curse, but getting through a labyrinth maze isn't an easy job. And it just became harder with a Sphinx blocking her path! After the prophecy about her love was brought up, Artemis can't seem to get past the Sphinx... Will she be able to save her camp?

This is the sequel to Sphinx. Rachael and Gabriel enjoy each other's company in a brief moment of peace until a new enemy comes to avenge Dracula's death. She is bitter but her bitterness is shared as Samuel seeks revenge for his brother. They band together and travel through mystical lands in a trouble filled journey to save Gabriel's soul. They meet obstacles they never imagined including those of the heart as their feelings towards each other grows during their journey. Their bonds and their wills will be the last thing holding Gabriel's soul and they are faced with an agenda from an enemy outside their sights. Samuel will face a trial as he battles the aftermath of Gabriel's death and he will be forced to make a decision to let his brother die or lose his opportunity at love. And Gabriel will have to decide if he will watch his brother die for him or if he will stay dead for his brother to live. Love, jealousy and blood will write their stories.

She goes to Northridge High during the day, but she flies alone above the forest at night. She was cursed at seventeen to be human during the day, but assume her true form, a sphinx, at night. I'm just going to write all these dialogues and situation down here that come to my mind. Some will be based on situations I experienced some will be actual copies of them and some will be completely fictional. Also some poems will be here. Above It All, USA has no wifi, no TV signal, no radio stations, no traffic lights, and no microwaves. There's only one gas station and only one school. Above It All has non-human people from around the world living as neighbors, a giant telescope that can hear the sounds of space, and the world's only domesticated werewolf. It has clean air and massive rocks to climb. There's only one grandmother here with a house full of amazing things she's never put her hands on before, and her Mom left her there for the entire summer without a cell phone to keep track of where she was and who she was talking to. It was going to be amazing.

My name is Sevia. I am the last of a forgotten world, a forgotten earth to be exact. On the earth I knew there were amazing creatures. The main ones were the Humans, the Sphinxes, the Phoenixes and the Dragons. That all was lost, partially because of me. Part 1: Monday Sevia is a normal 16 year old girl. Well, that's what she thought till one day everything changes. She goes to school to learn how to control her newfound powers. There she meets her first, but not last, enemy. As soon as she thinks she can learn about herself in peace, she is being forced into a new fight. But this time it could mean her life and the lives of the ones she loves. Even the whole world. (This is my first story. I've had this story in my head since a while and finally wanted to put it down in writing. I hope you like it. :)

A world with many different fantasy species, once in a tense peace, has now fallen into an all-out war, dragging many from any kingdom to fight in its bloody battles. Four from different species each vow to end the war for their own reasons, come together by a stroke of luck. Surrounded by mistrust and hatred, these four try to accomplish what seems impossible. These are the events of the planet of Noider. The story of Priya. Imagine a planet where all the supernatural creatures co-exist with each other and the humans are forced to live with them. Will they survive this? What will happen when they realize that the planet is having its own secrets and no one is as virtuous as they seem? (I have just started writing this, so I will keep on making changes. In progress.)
