She weaves beautiful webs that look like lace, flowers, and stars. She uses berry juice to dye her silk and uses shiny dew drops to make her art sparkle. Soon, she teaches the other spiders how to make art, and the humans stop using their brooms because the porch is too beautiful to clean.

This story takes place after a phantom troupe member falls in love and betrays the spiders, moving on to focus on her love, the scarlet in her web. After her betrayal the scarlet learns to trust her, though is still commonly seen on his guard around her. When the two enter the Hunter exam, one completely oblivious to the power of nen and one who used it daily as a spider, they meet three others who end up being their best friends.
