The reader is a new recruit for the Avengers, and almost instantly becomes friends with Peter; due to their same likeness for the sciences and the fact that they're the same age (18, for the story's case) which aids in being 100% relatable with each other (you know, besides the fact of genders and such). The reader is quite new with experimenting with her powers and she has a slight jealousy towards Peter since he has had more time to work with his spider skills; which results in her feeling as if she is the weak link of the group. This spurs the idea of going out by herself to discover what her powers can really do, which might not end up going the way she planned... (Also posted on my Tumblr, AO3, and DeviantArt; so yes, I'm the same Kacii, plus I suck at editing photos for this so don't expect much!) **I do not own the image used in this series, nor do I own Spider-Man, Tom Holland, or any other characters mentioned!

peter hates the idea of soulmates. he certainly can't afford to be with his soulmate when they do show up, not when there's a chance he won't come home one day from being spider-man. he can't do that to them, he can't lose someone he loves and he can't have them lose him - he saw what it did to his aunt may when his uncle died. but meeting your soulmate is inevitable, and it's not always so easy to avoid what the universe wants to happen - this story runs from post homecoming and will go until endgame
