The tribe strived by the help of their unique ability to communicate and even replicate the movement and traits of any magical creatures of the realm. So basically Peter, being part of that tribe, protected the Eastern boundary. He managed to copy the movements and trait of a Spider like creature of Ta Lo. But he can't produce webs. So he uses threads of silk almost as strong as the ropes with dragon scales. This silk was weaved in a form of a thin ropes that stretches depending on the strength of its user. Also Peter can walk above water like water spiders and have great senses almost like his spider-sense.
