As she grows up alongside him, she discovers the world of the Avengers and, eventually, her own powers... along with an evil entity residing within her. Upon joining the team, Lattimore meets Spider-Man and grows to hate him for constantly stealing Tony's attention. Unaware of who hides behind the mask, she ends up being sent to Queens to take a break from the Avengers. There, she meets Peter Parker, a seemingly normal guy who slowly manages to spark feelings in her.
