Said kid happened to be a orphan after his aunt passed away and was put into a foster home. Tony Stark and Pepper Potts where looking to adopt a kid to sedate a dream they just happened to find the same kid from the dream. Nick Fury was looking to put The Ultimates in a safe house, but with May passing away Spider-Man couldn't provide a safe house. Nick Fury didn't like Tony Stark but would grudgingly put the team with Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
