When Peter Parker is recruited by his hero Tony Stark, he thinks nothing could make his life better. He quickly realizes that being a superhero is not all that it's made out to be. He has trouble dealing with the stress of it all, saving everyone, making Tony proud, on top of normal teenage stuff like school, bullies, and relationships. After the effects of Homecoming, Peter slowly becomes less enthusiastic about everything. His thoughts and responsibilities weigh on him like a ton of bricks, but he refuses to let anyone see through it. When he loses that last person in his life who loved him unconditionally, will he be able to push through, or will he crumble under the weight. Note: Story takes place after Civil War and Homecoming. May contain some triggering topics (anxiety, depression, etc.), I will put trigger warnings as best as I can in each chapter.

While on patrol, Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man) unfortunately got shot. Again. What was worse was that his best friend Ned, his guy in the chair, got a new phone number. He knew his new number, yes, so he tried to type it out- but in his defence, it was an emergency situation, his fingers were slippery and he may or may not have accidentally pressed a few wrong digits... whoops. It has been a month since the second Snap. Tony Stark, AKA Ironman, and Peter's close mentor, was in a coma ever since he snapped with the Infinity Stones to decimate the enemy. It had effectively almost killed him, but he was still alive, just in a deep, deep sleep. Peter couldn't stand it. Tony was like a father to him, and he didn't want to lose the man he always looked up to. So he decided to start writing letters to Tony. Lots and lots of letters, one a day, all sent to the hospital Tony was in, in high hopes that he will one day wake up and be able to read them. Peter Parker goes to sleep on a normal night, and wakes up in a dark cold room, and being transformed into a cold blooded killer. Tony Stark wakes up the same day and when he can't find his intern, starts to panic. When he hears about a new killer like a replicate of the winter soldier called the winter spider, he knows who it is, and takes it upon himself to find his kid.
