"But I don't know how to tell them. What if they react badly?" Clint sighed and looked at the subject of their conversation, rubbing between his eyes. "The longer you leave it, the worse their reaction will be. If you tell them sooner, they may just surprise you and not turn homicidal." "I don't know, Clint." He sighed in uncertainty. "Peter, the only thing you can do is try. They deserve to know. You know that." Peter adjusted the wrap and looked down at it with a resigned expression. "I guess you're right. But I want you to remember that I am very, very, against this. For when things go bad." Clint sighed but nodded. "Trust me, it'll be hard but then it'll be better. There's always clouds before the storm, but after that you get the rainbow." Peter cringed. "Did you really just say that? Seriously?" Clint mirrored his disgusted look. "Yeah, sorry. I think I almost just made myself puke." They shared a laugh and Clint held out his hand to shake, "I'm holding you to this."
