When Spinel left with the Diamonds she thought she would get all the love and attention she'd ever desire, hell, that's how they potrayed themselves...Obsessed with Pink and her playmate, would spend all time with her, would do anything to protect her. However, that quickly chnaged into a disaster. The Diamonds wouldn't let Pink go...they dressed Spinel up in Pink's clothes, became way more strict than they portrayed themselves, and overall got bored with her. Feeling heartbroken and trapped, Spinel decided to go back to Earth, where she lived with Steven and the CGs. Steven realizes how precious Spinel is, and instantly falls in love. Unfortunately, he becomes obsessed with her, doing anything to make her his. His property, his love, his Spinel. That causes him to go on a rampage, and he is no longer the loving Steven we all knew and love. His eyes turned into Diamond eyes, putting him out of his usual place. He'll kill to make Spinel his.... And that wasn't an expression....

It's that time of life where you go to college, get a scholarship, get smarter, and get some money n bitches along the way. Steven Universe has been awarded a scholarship to Fairheart University, and is looking forward to what's to come. However, at the University they have dorms. And while most people share rooms with the same gender, there are a couple that share a room with the opposite, and Steven is one of them. A girl. While he's tryna make friends with his new dormmate, they might end up matin in that dorm (wink wink 😏) or they might just end up being awkward. Will he and Spinel ever become friends? What is Spinel's life like? Why the hell am I asking yall this? Well buckle up, and get an extra pair of panties, cuz this is gonna be a BUMPY ride!

I had this idea in mind, which is really just a one shot. * * * Basically, Spinel is reset. And not the reset to where she has the heart buns and all that. It's the reset to where her memory IS sorta erased, BUT...she's lead to believe by White she is Steven's servant. How did this happen, you ask? It all started when Spinel got into an accident, harming her gem and once Steven gets concerned enough to where even he can't fix her, he seeks White's help to get his love back. However, little did he know it was too good to be true.

--this is in an AU (alternate universe) and takes place at the movie's ending and is not related to steven universe future-- It's been two years since Spinel left Earth, and things have gotten worse. Spinel's stand'in on Pink's throne has angered some gems, and they have begun to harass her. Steven has been having to deal with a murder case in New Homeworld as well as Connie breaking up with him, which drove him into a depressive state.. The future isn't so perfect after all. Spinel soon gets tired of everything and flees to Earth. With a group of gems coming to shatter her and with Steven being the only one she can trust, all hope seems to be lost.. ..But is it? --- this is my first time writing a steven universe fanfic, so dont kill me for any continuity errors! ÓvÒ' also.. there's spoilers for the movie so you should watch it first.

Steven didn't know how it happened but now here he was, in a locked bedroom, with no way out. Steven knew that the city was torn between two sides, Crystal Gems versus the Diamonds. So since he thought he lived and worked on neutral territory, he never thought he'd be taken from his friends and family, and now be in the possession of the Diamonds.

The first novel of my Beyond The Future: A Steven Universe series. It is the beginning of Steven and Spinels journey. And it takes place before Steven leaves for Beach City and after his meltdown. Romance, drama, and angst included.

Set post-SU Movie and can be seen as Steven x Spinel or it can be seen as platonic. Your choice, since even if there is mention of love, Steven expresses love for the other gems all the time. There will be no smut, and this will be a pure, fluffy comfort fic about Spinel getting help and becoming happy as herself again mostly thanks to Steven. After a week with the diamonds, Spinel is feeling a fair bit better. She's bonding with the diamonds, and it seems like she may have finally found a home... However, just as things are looking up, a gem rebellion rises and threatens the diamonds. Until the threat is dealt with, Spinel is sent back to earth, to live with Steven... Needless to say, after nearly destroying his planet and killing his friends, Spinel is nervous to see him again... Little does she know, that most of Steven's friends have at one point or another, tried to do the exact same thing.
