Historia opowiada o losach dwóch przyjaciół, którzy w wyniku przypadku trafili do obcego wymiaru, krainy Ninjago. W wyniku niefortunnych zdarzeń obrońcy tej krainy biorą ich za wrogów.

Mam na imię Victoria i mam 16 lat. Nie wiem jak ani w jaki sposób się tu znalazłam. Trafiłam do pięknej i malowniczej krainy Ninjago. Poznałam tu 6 ninja i ich senseja. Do jednego z nich żywię uczucie. Niestety obawiam się, że on nie czuje tego samego... I tylko jedne słowa wyrażą to co czuję... I love you... Cole... ********** Witajcie miśki! Fajny prolog? Kai and Nya both got their powers from their mom and dad but we don't know their parents until now....

After the Ninjas save Ninjago from the threat Overlord once again, the main 4 Kai, Cole, Zane and Jay lose their powers. Nya still has her powers but they are weak so Master Wu sends them to train somewhere in the world in areas that weaken each of the Ninjas powers in hope that harsh landscapes help bring out their powers stronger than ever. Pixal and Lloyd stay home helping rebuild the monastery and go on small missions while they wait for everyone's return.

In the land of Ninjago, the Ninja add a new member to their team. However, with new friends come new threats in the form of Kranus, a former servant of the Overlord who seeks revenge on Ninjago and nothing will stop him. With limited time on their hands, the Ninja must train Matt, the new Ninja, and help him unlock his true potential if they are to stop Kranus and save Ninjago before it is too late.
