Ngozi has summoned a beast from legend, Lakota the grey wolf. At first she sees him as a curse but when Ngozi realises the world is in danger and she is the girl destined to save it their magical bond grows stronger. Ngozi must learn to defend herself as she goes on a deadly adventure to find the Spirit of the North.
