"a sound soul dwells within a sound mind and a sound body" i recently started watching soul eater, and i thought some oneshots and x-readers may be in order! i'm not done with the show yet, so sorry if some things may be inaccurate. i plan on reading the manga afterwards, though! anyways, hope you enjoy!

Several years after Akemi and Kid went off to Norway for their honeymoon, Lord Death unexpectedly passed. He left behind his legacy AND the DWMA to his son, Death The Kid. Akemi and Kid returned from their vacation to find out she would bear their first child, both her and Kid excited to meet their daughter. Her full name (title included) is Mistress Mizuki Death. Bullied daily at the Academy, she has only one friend... the adopted son of Maka and Soul, Apsel Hildbrand. She's ashamed of herself for what she was born as, but hides those feelings from her parents for fear of upsetting them. She goes on through her school life, miserable but making it. Her father, Death The Kid, learns of the rise of a new Kishin while out for field work one afternoon with Liz and Patty. His name is Mazoku, created in secrecy by a band of Kishin worshippers. After the fall of his older brother Asura, Kid is determined to keep this event from his daughter. Mizuki has a worse than usual day at the Academy, and tells her parents she's off to practice her weapon abilities. Deep in the woods outside of Death City, she runs into a strange character who promises to take the bad feelings away. What will she do? read on to find out!
