Diné spiritualism asserts that there are two sets of beings once spirits finally emerge into this world - The Yellow World - after three other lives. There are Holy People, and the Earth People. It is the Earth People's divine responsibility to maintain health, harmony, peace, and prosperity on Mother Earth. Centuries ago, the Earth People were guided by the Holy People in an attempt to teach them how to properly treat their environment and sustain the planet through their lifestyles. All was considered. Mother Earth and Father Sky. Humans, animals, insects, plants - none were bigger or smaller than the other. If the Earth People's wholesome will faltered, the Holy People were tasked with the responsibility of righting the Earth People's wrongs. Putting nature back on its path. As part of the Holy People's last ditch effort at combating centuries of human transgressions, a select group from the newest - and possibly last - generation is tasked with finally getting those in power to listen. 8 Holy Children are born on Earth, led particularly by Nizhoni Flores who has been patroned by the Navajo God of communication, Bikeh Hozho.

Update: the next bit could take a little longer because I have almost reached the end of what I had written. I have been polishing and publishing, but it will certainly take me longer to actual write the new stuff. However, I am very excited about what is coming. I have it planned out, so to speak. You haven't even met the protagonist! And that was always the plan. I am not Lucasing here! So, I will get it up in chunks. No less than 1500 words, but if you would prefer to wait longer and read more, please let me know. This series tells an ongoing story about a darkness that befalls a small town in late 19th Century US. It's very much a work in progress, but I intend to finish it.

Ivy, 1990: has a window into the past, yet no idea where it comes from or what her future holds. A man moves to town and becomes her mentor, helping her understand why the ghosts of someone else's past are haunting her. A new friend emerges and teaches Ivy about living her own life, not in the past, but NOW. Ava,1879: once lonely, ever reluctant psychic who lives in the Spiritualist mecca of Boston. As she deals with her father's death and her mother's rejection, she knows she can't go home again and tries not to lose everything in her brand new life. Can Ivy and Ava help each other, or will they continue to fumble through life's hardships separately - aware of their connection but never knowing how much they have in common? Outside of the spirit writings, what is the true nature of their connection? This follow-up to The Spirit Writings trilogy can stand alone, or it can take readers to a new level - and a new era.

This is my first attempt to publish anything I've ever written. I've written a lot of poems and some short stories in my life that have never seen the light of day. This is a collection of poems and prose that I hope you will enjoy. Constructive criticism is more than welcome. Happy reading!

The chronicle of an archaeological expedition to the Rub al Khali desert of Arabia, known as the Empty Quarter, in search a fabled lost city, an Atlantis of the Sands. But the novel is less concerned with lost kingdoms than the ideological quarrels, betrayal, and eventually murder that overcomes the expedition party. At the entre of that dysfunctional company is the expedition leader. Callously call him the 'The Amateur Professor', a prolific liar who deceived himself as much as anybody else, falsifying his academic qualifications, committing multiple acts of fraud to finance his ambition, and concocting an elaborate fictitious history of a desert Atlantis to mislead 49 men into accompanying him on a treasure hunt into the inhospitable interior of the Empty Quarter. So why follow a man who travelled to the ends of the earth, spent a fortune, and ruined numerous lives, and failed. Because the story is not concerned with lost kingdoms and buried treasure. This tale is a search for something which does not register on the historical record, which leaves no relics to be excavated. Whether El-Dorado or Shangri-La, the Foreigner believed that to dream of Atlantis in this mechanized age is to long for a time when the world was young and untamed, and the lands beyond the town and city were full of gods and monsters, and men lived with eternity in their hearts. Like the Empty Quarter, the Foreigner was haunted by ghosts of the past. But he did not want to simply go back. He knew the wrong turn he had taken in life and he determined to go back and take the other path, by the only magic that allows it; the written word, to journey through the agony and ecstasy of the life not lived.

God is everywhere, but you need to be a lover to see him, realize his presence, and communicate with him. God becomes available to only those who know they are no different than God, who understand that they are physically and mentally one, who understand that the temple, mosque, and the church exist within them. People who don't repress any emotion, who know how to live life to the fullest - both from the inside and the outside - who enjoy the comforts of life, mind, and soul are the only ones who reach the mansion of God. God is the ultimate reality, and only those who know how to commend the beauty of trees, animals, fishes, birds, and insects can reach him. People who have lost their primal innocence only to reclaim it consciously are the ones that knock at the door of God. To enter your real home - the home of God - you have to claim maturity. But don't confuse maturity with a serious man who doesn't know how to laugh. Otherwise, you will be turned out. But that also doesn't mean that you have to become childish again. Instead, you have to become innocent in a mature way. Only those who become innocent by abandoning childish ignorance and acquiring godly maturity will be given the ticket to enter God's wonderland.

Angels and Thieves is the third novel of my Indie-published books featuring Parisian attorney André Gensonné who moves in the upper echelons of the art world. The books are art mysteries set in and around Paris, France. Mysticism plays an intriguing role. The book centers around the painter Raphael who is known for his Madonna paintings. André's twin brother Pierre died in a boating accident just before they turned eighteen. André couldn't save him and is riddled with guilt that overshadows his life. Pierre guides André to love again from the other side in Mystery in Montmartre. He doesn't quite get the girl, but he does find love in Sixty Mortal Sins (the second in the series.) Tell me what you think of the first chapter of Angels and Thieves!
