Kaithlin Hale is a 17 year old girl that takes care of her little sister since they lost their parents. They are poor and Kaithlin hunts to get food on the table. When her sister almost got taken and was forced to kill her first reaper she got a taste for it. Lysandra Herondale is the queen of the vampires and the most feared person in the world. When she hears stories about a girl from Ghosthaven that has been killing reapers she becomes curious about her and plans to offer her a job as her personal huntress. But what happens when a queen falls in love with a huntress.
