The Heart Sutra tells the story of what one of the Buddha's wisest disciples, Avalokiteshvara, saw and understood at the very moment in which he obtained "Enlightenment" or, in other words, when he had reached "Nirvana".. The original Sutra ("Telling") is very short, only 12 lines or so and the language used is highly condensed. Thus it is necessary to expand the work into modern English before the full import of the journey undertaken can be readily understood......

There are two ways in the world. Daoism knew about this in their ancient concept of yin and yang. The British philosopher Alan Watts identified these traits in the human collective as Prickles and Gooists. Two main characteristics that both oppose and complement each other. This book is exploring the two ways and their correlation to left and right brain qualities along with the two types of intelligences of EQ and IQ. The story goes on to how these traits are reflected in our western society and culture today and the constant pending movement in-between the two ways.
