The world of Inklings is a big place, but a select few have really set their own in a different way. And this series will chronicle the adventures through the years that defined the New Squidbeak Splatoon. Part 1 (Splatoon): An unassuming Inkling named Ikka Masu just arrived in Inkopolis, but soon she meets an old guy named Cuttlefish, and her life changes forever, when she makes new friends and meets new enemies, she knows she's the solution to a very big problem. Part 2 (Splatoon 2): Famous Turf War Athlete Leon Finn arrives in Inkopolis Square to compete in the Turf War competition, but soon meets an unfamiliar face, which he finds delightful, and his life becomes one big adventure, that even his chaotic energy can't handle. Part 3 (Octo Expansion): A young Octoling doesn't know who he is, his only name is Eight. But when he meets Cuttlefish, his desire to escape reaches an all time high in the Deepsea Metro. When he remebers who he is, and eventually is pulled into a very threatening plan. Part 4 (Splatoon 3): A young Octoling named Paella Kani finds herself at odds, after heading to the Splatlands, she soon finds there's more chaos there than she bargained for. When she finds Alterna, she realizes that Octarians might not be the biggest threat to the world Part 5 (Side Order): Eight wakes up in a place that's completely blank, joined by a drone that seems familiar, Leon who's chaotic attitude shines on, and a new friend that's been sanitized, he goes to rescure his fellow Octoling Marina, and soon realizes that chaos might be needed to help her. This will be a five part series with each adventure split into different chapters, at the beginning of each part, I will introduce my ocs, so you can get a grasp on what they're like.)

An assortment of short stories revolving around original characters that near-exclusively never intersect with the story lines of Splatoon's canon characters, with an exception here and there. More particularly the ones of two people - the life of an Octoling with insurmountable hatred crossed in his 3 hearts. And the story of a mixed Inkling born in an high house who grew up to be drawn into the violence that a rule-ridden turf war match couldn't give to him. Neither of them ever really meet, really. One is a Freestyle-Karateka, Low-Class, and the middle child of a family he doesn't remember thanks to his amnesia caused by experimental drugs and by extension due to being subjugated to every type of abuse in the army - and the other the practitioner of a military martial art taught by a former Agent, long-time friend of the Squid Sisters that would nowadays rather bite their tongue than ever admit that they used to know that monster in Inkling form. And plenty of other nobodies that either resorted to measures similar to Katou, or are simply „born strong", as he would describe them. This is a story about reaching a happy end. Or at least „wanting" to.

One of my OC's, Leah Aquatic going through almost the same childhood as her mother, Mistheart (Misty) but she lives in the Splatlands alongside Deep Cut. Deep Cut and all else Splatoon related belongs to Nintendo. My OC's belong to me.

You might be asking, hey Random, what's the difference between this reader insert and your other one? And I would tell ya, two things. 1. This is a more Splatoon 3 centric story, as opposed to the typical Splatoon 2 centric format. Figured may as well give some folks over in the Splatlands something to chew on while the plot of the first goes on. 2. Our lovely reader avatar is a human, as opposed to a cephalopod like in the first one. Always thought that angle of a Splatoon story was neat, may as well throw my hat into the ring right? I can't speak for the speed of this in relation to the first, as this is more experimental, but I hope your enjoy your vacation all the same. You will not be compensated. Also again, you're a guy.
