A fanmade Splatoon story where the last human, "Charles" or "Subject C," tries to adapt to life in Inkopolis. The question is: how would a human adapt to a completely new environment? WARNING: This contains self-shipping and original characters (OCs). Please read with the understanding that this is an alternate universe (AU) that deviates from the original Splatoon lore!

Taking place right after the events of Octo Expansion, Agent 4(Amy) gets an unexpected new roommate. Her name is Crystal(Agent 8), and she had just moved to Inkopolis, and being the first Octoling to do so(other than Marina) she hopes to leave her past behind. But when DJ Octavio escapes, and forms a new plan to take over Inkopolis, the two must form an unlikely alliance to stop him, once and for all.

You were supposed to just be the average inkling, Y/n L/n, known by many as the secretive, small-time singer Seaside, known best for his hidden identity and performances by the street, in garages, bars, wherever one could stop to listen and give money. Those days came, and before you could learn to appreciate them, they were gone, just like you were that fateful day you woke up away from home, just like the day you were banished to the oceans and the dangers of the planet 4546B, and just like the day you finally returned home, five long years later, to a world once familiar... In case it's not obvious, this is the rewrite to A World Once Familiar. I plan on expanding upon the main character (who I call Harbor Maria in place of Y/n L/n), Agent 3, and improve several scenes, as well as give the whole story some much-needed polish and a touch of my more modern writing.

Her cheery attitude attracted many friends and followers, and a dangerous job, and school brought many surprises and shocking ideas. Looks like Inkopolis isn't nearly as calm as she though it would be! Part 2: Ideas are shifting and relationships are changing. When a friend gets taken away, Silica is bitten by grief and confusion. Some species might've even left forever! When danger appears on a friendly image, Silica is changed forever. Some things might never go back to normal on her part. This story is either done, or almost done, if you are reading this. I hope you enjoyed my story~

A young man heads to the city to locate his missing friend, and he discovers that she has been lying to him about what exactly she does for a living. The eyes of the city's law enforcement follow his every step, and now he must decide for himself what is right or wrong. Just like that, the newly christened "Agent 4" stumbles into a world of security threats, covert ops, and conflicting responsibilities.

Four Oceanics, sent to the past by the ancient Rainmakers, changed the course of history for each of their races. The survival of Humanity guaranteed that The Second Great Turf War could and would be prevented, and the three races would to learn to coexist with one another. In peace. But once you play with fire, there is no containing it's flames. A reality scorched by war, a resistance led by three unlikely individuals, and the soon-to-be discovered prospect of harnessing the Rainmakers' power. All it would take is the for a young Octoling to discover a remote island in the middle of nowhere, and the course and fate of the world would fall in Squidbeak's hands once more. The stakes have changed though, with things more important than the world at a knife's edge, will Squidbeak be able to navigate this insanity induced nightmare, or fall into oblivion?

[A Splatoon Fanfiction] There have been many stories about the Great Turf War - all about the victories and heroes that played their part. Though, one tale about an Inkling hero who had fought with an Octarian brush is known by only a few. The first time Hotaru Ayako had ever heard of this Inkling was from an unlikely encounter with an enemy. She has been given two choices, to either head down to Octo Valley with her own Octobrush, or face major consequences. And while she, herself is intrigued by this, she decides to spend her summer exploring the undergrounds to uncover this forgotten legend. But what she doesn't know is that her answers might be hidden in places she would not expect.
