Ah humanity, so creative and destructive, so much so that mother nature sought to knock the entire human race down a few thousand pegs and force everyone to go underground. Twelve thousand and something years later humanity decides to emerge again and meet the new neighbours no one knew existed, does it sound like fiction ?, It does. Let's just say that reality is stranger than fiction.

An octoling boy named Yuki who has mysterious powers, lives in the future and travels to the past to escape from the chaos of Inkopolis. The future he lived in was chaotic. Inklings and octolings were competing with each other too seriously, that some of them are dying. In the past, he travelled to the year of 2021. There, he meets an inkling girl with the name of Sayuri. She found Yuki in a back alley one night and she took care of him. When Yuki shook her hand, he had this feeling they met. Although, Sayuri doesn't know where he comes from, she has a feeling that he's hiding something from her. Yuki also runs into some familiar faces as well. Why does Yuki have a feeling he and Sayuri met? And why does Sayuri feel like there's something more to Yuki?
