Y/N was just a pilot with a particular set of skills: engineering, tinkering, and of course, fighting in Turf Wars and doing shifts at Grizzco Industries. Everything changes when he is hired by none other than idol group and iconic Splatlands trio Deep Cut to fly them to the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. Having recently emerged after a sudden shift in the tectonic plates off the coast of Inkadia and the Splatlands, the islands are said to be home to mysteries, treasure, and possibly dangers beyond comprehension. Yet when fate causes Deep Cut and Y/N to crash onto the Spirhalite Islands, they have to work together to not only survive, but thrive on the cryptic archipelago. The ultimate question for Y/N is whether his body or his mind will survive when dealing with the unusual trio he has found himself stranded with.

New islands, new gadgets, new Salmonids, that's a day in the life for this group of treasure hunters! This spinoff of the SplaTOON series takes place four years after the events of SplaTOON 3. Salmonid-raised mechanic Shumi Shira is now seventeen and has been asked to fly Deep Cut to the Spirhalite Islands in order to hunt for some treasure! However, their helicopter crashes after coming across a beam of light. After a month of being stranded, they decide there's nothing better to do than to find that goshdarn treasure. They soon find a clan of Salmonids native to the islands, one whose technology even Shumi isn't familiar with. In order to fight back, Shumi has to up her own gadgetry. As they collect more of the Salmonids' relics, though, Shumi focuses less on whether they *can* take all this treasure and more on whether they *should* take all this treasure. Will Shumi and Deep Cut be able to find the treasure they need to get Splatsville out of debt, or will Shumi's conscience win out? I do not own Splatoon, Splatoon Raiders, or the characters Shiver, Frye, and Big Man. Cover design is mine made by using assets from Nintendo.

This is a fan made story that continues from Splatoon 2's story from the Coroika Manga (Vol 1 to 16) and Zactoshi's YouTube fanfic "What If Pokémon Sword and Shield Anime" as it'll be a zero filler revamp of Journeys and Horizons, along with the Splatlands Manga, covering the story of Splatoon 3, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Pokémon Legends Z-A, and Splatoon Raiders while also adding some creativity and creating a compelling story of the two memorable duos.

Three idiots are the reason you've crashed on an island, and as soon as you have the means to go home, they try to make you stay. Despite yourself, you can't help but build a positive relationship with these three. They think you're a genius, you think they're just idiots. An interpretation of Splatoon Raiders. I'm not novelizing the game or going level by level or anything, but I did gain a greater appreciation for Deep Cut as characters via this game and want to explore that. I also think the mechanic has potential to be a fun character. This isn't really a reader fic so much as it is a second person fic, but it can really be interpreted either way. It will MAYBE be an indulgent fic, but I want to respect the characters and keep it grounded as well. We'll see, pretty much. :smile: Very much just a draft and work-in-progress right now.
